Developing pre-clinical animal and in vitro cellular models that recapitulate human retinal diseases. Study of gene therapeutics on relevant pre-clinical models.
Benchside to bedside. Developing laminin based retinal cells for transplantation into pre-clinical animal models. Animal models include rodents, rabbits and non-human primates. Genetic and injury induced models that recapitulate human retinal disease conditions.
